The Neighborhoods: Ruins of family life at the end of the world.
Imagine packing up your belongings and heading north into the great unknown. But the one core anchor you have by your side is your family. Thousands of family’s made up the very fabric of what Uranium city was - and they all played a crucial role in its success and prosperity. Many amenities were constructed and provided to make sure life was as comfortable as possible; the one that lends a hand to the volume of decay in town are the homes.
Inside one of many hundred decayed husks left behind of the homes in UCity.
Hundreds of homes were constructed, some still stand - where the semi permanent residents still live to this day. 85% of the rest of the town’s utilities have been shut down; as we know when heat is absence from a structure it doesn't take long for nature to reclaim with a vengeance.
The homes, apartments, and duplex’s of Urnanium City serve to remind us that some of the toughest human beings lived, loved and contributed to a beautiful community tucked away at what may have seemed like the end of the world.
The apartments shown below were apparently completed but not a single soul inhabited them. As the construction was finished after the mine was closed down. Like the once prosperous townspeople – they were cut short to a fruitful life, before memories could be made.
